BLOOM is a celebration of six Black dance artists who have completed a one-year Body Prayers Artist Development Program.  More than a dance concert, BLOOM is a manifestation of Black creativity, a space to learn and grow, as well as vibe and chill in the Twin Cities largest gathering of Black-owned creators and artisans.  BLOOM will be held in the southwest corner of the Black Market, where over 50 vendors gather monthly in our very own Black Wall Street.  Similar to a West African Taneber or drum party, the dance artists will showcase their work interwoven with participatory experiences and art-making activities.  BLOOM on August 12 features Live DJS, crochet and rug tufting workshops, somatic experiences, Black vendors, Food trucks, dance performances, and community connections.  Register for this free event at bodyprayerspractice.com.
